ADMINISTRATIVE RULES OF MONTANA
ARM 10.55.603 Curriculum and Assessment
Students must be assessed on their progress toward achieving content standards in each program area. The assessment data will be compared to the Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM) to assess the effectiveness of the educational program. Assessment procedures are to be created by personnel licensed and endorsed in the program area, trustees, administrators, teachers, students, specialists, parents, community members and when appropriate, tribal representatives and state resource people. During assessment school districts must use appropriate measures and methods as a part of an assessment plan to assess student progress. Assessment plans should be included in the continuous school improvement plan and be in place in two years following the development of local curriculum.
