Idaho private schools accredited by NWAC must have curriculum comparative to that which is taught in Idaho public schools. The Idaho State Board of Education's committee to select curriculum must include one representative from a private or parochial school (parent, teacher or administrator).
STUDENT RECORDS

When a student first enrolls in an Idaho private school the school must notify the parent or guardian in writing that he or she must provide proof of the students identity and birth date within 30 days. If a student transfers to an Idaho private school the school must request a certified copy of the students record from their previous school within 14 days. A private or public school must comply with this request within 10 days of receipt. Upon admission into a private or parochial school the parent or guardian of a student must provide a record of immunizations. The list of required immunizations is to be provided by the Idaho Board of Health and Welfare. Attendance at a private or parochial school within Idaho must be equivalent to “a period each year equal to that in which the public schools are in session.”
ADMINISTRATION AND PERSONNEL

All administration and personnel within accredited private schools within Idaho must hold a certificate from the Idaho Board of Education for the service that is provided. The state board can endorse a certificate from another state for use in Idaho for up to five years if the qualifications meet that required for certification in Idaho
